If possible, we recommend carpooling for easier transitioning from locations and less planning involved, however if this is not a viable option, plenty of transportation services that operate both outside of and within the city exist for attendees.
Coming To Austin
For those coming from major cities, FlixBus is a great affordable option with many times and routes available. RedCoach is also a great option that is slightly more premium, but a better experience from anecdotal experiences. Hitch has also recently been popular, acting as an Uber between cities, for students at UT as well, however it can be hit or miss at times.
Traveling Within Austin
Within Austin, the metro system, CapMetro, operates both on campus and within the greater Austin area. We recommend to be careful with bus and rail timings as they fluctuate often.
